It’s been around 6 months since I’ve been training under Mannybee, I have worked out with both of them, pre- lockdown and during lockdown through the online classes, and I loved their coaching so much that I also purchased their 12 week home workout guide, without giving it a second thought! I am on Week 8 and have lost 5 kgs and a few inches too! In the end, what matters to me is the strength I’ve gained during these 8 weeks. Working out with Manuel has been an extremely humbling experience. My primary aim was to gain weight, and within a month of workouts along with the suggestions provided, I was able to gain 2 kgs. It seemed impossible to do so otherwise. With all his knowledge, he has guided me well in terms of, not just working on my posture, but also to improve a little bit every time I worked out with him. Unlike most trainers, Manuel does not go into the importance of how many repetitions you do, rather how well you do it. The workouts are so enjoyable that I am motivated enough to jump out of bed early for morning workouts! I always have been a conscious person when it comes to fitness and have done different forms of exercise like Yoga, Pilates & Gym. One of my friends introduced me to Abeer and asked me to join the sessions. Never before have I met two trainers who don’t see their clients as “clients” but as family. I mean, I’m sitting all the way here in Canada and these two will still be my first calls if I ever need any advice related to fitness, injury or nutrition. Manny, from being my football coach for 2 seasons – turned me from someone who could barely kick a ball, to the golden glove winner two seasons in a row. Bee, whenever I need to lose those last 5kgs or just need motivation; she’s the first person I go to for help/advice. These two haven’t only helped me when it comes to my fitness, but also in life.
